Neues Schloss, Tettnang. Photographer: Stephen Riley, Somerset
Perhaps architecture is the one art form we all understand. At least it is one which we all encounter, use and sometimes admire. What light does to architecture, as daylight changes with time, weather and the seasons, is part of what the architect contemplates, and part of the experience of being in or around a building. As in this case, sometimes simple forms and structures are brought to life and take on a special feeling when the light falls favourably - and a photographer is on hand to capture the moment.
